Current University Expertise:

Dr. Mantha Mehallis received her Ph.D. from Michigan State University and began her career as an Information Communication Specialist with the State of Michigan. Subsequently, she established the Offices of Institutional Research and Planning at Broward College, Nova Southeastern University where she was also Director of Strategic Planning, and Florida Atlantic University. Institutional research consists of data gathering and analysis for the purpose of executive level decision making. Currently she is Director of the Environmental MBA and the Crisis and Emergency Management MBA and professor of International Business, Cross-cultural Management and Negotiation, and Organization Behavior at Florida Atlantic University. She also serves on the graduate faculty in those areas and in Environmental Business Management. Currently, Dr. Mehallis is the PI on a Homeland Security Grant with Johns Hopkins University to develop a program inventory of existing courses nationwide and an online awareness course on disaster preparedness for national dissemination.
